at the age of 14, Ava August performed before a SOLD OUT audience of thirty thousand fans on the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles prior to the start of a Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August had been booked with the LA Galaxy and Los Angeles Dodgers, two professional teams for baseball and soccer. However, COVID-19 forced the two teams to rescind their bookings. Ava August was the youngest performer and appearance on American Idol's 19th season when she was just 15 years old. Ava August was awarded the GOLDEN TICKER in the Audition Round. After that, she was able to advance into the Genre, Duet, Showstopper and the Celebrity/Solo the Top 16, and 10 Rounds. Ava was voted into the TOP 10 by the American public. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava performed an exhilarating duet with the world-renowned celebrity musician, Josh Groban. Ava has released her critically-acclaimed song Daybreak at the age of fifteen. Daybreak was followed by her debut music video that was animated.
