Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor who is known for her work in a variety of genres in film television and the theater. She was awarded numerous awards including the Daytime Emmy Award. There is a rumor that Anne was not interested in playing Laurie Strode, the character in the horror film of John Carpenter's film Halloween. The character was cast with Jaime Lee Curtis. The actor. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role but she declined her back. Anne claims that she doesn't remember being approached or even offered the part from John Carpenter. It's possible that one of her agents declined the role on her behalf, without notifying her. She was initially chosen to play the role by Glen Larson who sent her an extremely preliminary script to play an appearance in the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. She rejected the role initially as the character wasn't that strong. Glen came up with a completely new character to play for her featuring Sheba as a more powerful character. The Living Legend was accepted when she was able to read the initial 25 pages of the script. The program ran for one episode.
